Way 360 flipping the Mega Ramp on the cover of the August 2008 Transworld Skateboarding
This week, at the Oi! Megarampa contest in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Mega Ramp pioneer Danny Way suffered a fall that left him with two broken vertebrae.
The incident took place in practice, and Way was out of the hospital by Thursday, November 20.
A Brazilian news source quoted contest winner Bob Burnquist as saying: “We know the risk to this sport. Danny knows it too. I was very much saddened because I wanted to see him on the ramp, on Sunday.”
While he will make a full recovery, doctors say Way will be sidelined for up to 6 months—which could be anywhere from 3-4 months in Danny Way time.
No word on whether this will delay the upcoming Plan B video, scheduled for 2009.

OMG! The dude bounced like 20 feet off his ass. What were all those ass hats doing on the landing?! Seems like it was a huge distraction and I am sure condtributed to the bail.

Not to mention the sketch set up. WtF was that ramp on the left for? Seem like it would send you stright up and the one on the right was not high enough.
