Transworld Business is committed to giving its readers the best possible tradeshow coverage, and we were on the scene yet again today at the San Diego Convention Center for ASR.

The first day of ASR was busy–noticably smaller than usual, but busy. Initial assements from many exhibitors is that the show is more business focused than in the recent past, condensed, and still a viable platform to convey brand messages. Retailers seem to be holding meetings with vendors and planning for ‘09 more than actually veiwing lines. Overall, first day impressions are optimistic despite the current
economic climate.
