Dane Williams
According to a breaking news report on sandiego6.com a suspect named Philong Huynh was arrested on Thursday night in connection with the mysterious death of Dane Williams. Hyunh will be arraigned in San Diego Superior Court on Tuesday, September 15 and faces murder charges.
Williams, a member of the marketing team at Hurley, disappeared on January 26, 2008 after leaving the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. His body was found three days later in an alleyway in City Heights, but no cause of death was ever determined. Williams was in town for the Action Sports Retailer (ASR) tradeshow being held at the near by San Diego Convention Center.
The initial report has limited details about Huynh, but does offer this statement:
“Philong Huynh was arrested Thursday night and faces murder and possibly other felony charges, according to the District Attorney’s office. Huynh sued the county last year, resisting efforts to make him register as a sex offender in San Diego County after he moved here from Arizona, where he was a registered sex offender.”

The DA’s office says more information will be made available at the arraignment.

We've all hurt alongside the Williams family for the last year and a half. I hope that this can help to bring them some closure. Feeling for them again today. So much sadness.

I hope this evil person gets the no mercy behind bars. I hope he never enjoys another mea outside of confinement, but most of all I hope the "corrections system" starts correcting people rather that releasing monster back out into society. This should have never happened, and the judge, prosecutors, etc that let this guy get back out into public should have to look his victims family's in the eye and apologize.

I didn't know Dane and i didn't even know this happened, or maybe i did cause I read this website every week. Its just been so long since it happened. Its just so sad that there is so much good in this World and one person's action can cause so much hurt. Dane seems like he was a awesome guy, I wish I could have known him.
I hope his family, friends, co-workers in the board sport industry can find peace and justice.

He will get all the dick he wants in prison

This why the death penalty is a good thing. We need to get people like this off the streets and into coffins.

This frustrates me because Dane would still be here if the laws were more focused on "zero tolerance". 1st degree murder, child molestation, rape, and several other crimes should be one and done. If you commit these types of crime, you deserve no second change.
God Bless Dane, his family, and his friends. Let's focus on him, not on the creep that did this to him. He is what mattered the most.
