After a Friday night just as jam packed with parties as the show was with appointments, show goers slowly trickled back onto the floor of the Long Beach Convention Center for day two of retailer and brand meetings. The morning picked up around 11 a.m. and collections were being shown in busy booths like Nixon, Von Zipper, Sector 9, Huf, Brixton, Primitive, Herschel, and Stance, to name just a few that we checked in with.
By early afternoon, we tracked down the busiest man on the show floor, Agenda President Aaron Levant, who was able to give us the full run down on attendance and the feedback he’s been receiving from retailers and brands alike about the show. Preliminary numbers look like January’s show is on track to beat previous attendance, and the overall mood within the industry was upbeat, with little attention to a down economy, says Levant. Stay tuned to TransWorld Business for the full video interview and show recap on Monday.
