While good reps can make for fun shop clinics, nothing beats actually testing product out in its natural habitat. On November 12-13 employees from 96 Colorado shops and one from Oklahoma City took over Loveland’s parking lot, two open lifts, and park to test boards and bindings from 59 manufacturers. This year’s attendance by 441 shop staff, up from 372 last year, was a record for the fourth annual event.
Joe Decker, who helps out with the event and handles the registration, says his overall impression was “incredible - strong growth in a weak market. Dealers and employees are learning the benefit of ‘personal knowledge’ of how the products they sell ride.”

Smart move on these manufacturers/companies to connect with people in the front lines of the business. Smart move on the part of the snow shops to educate their sales force and make them more knowledgeable on the floor. Great event.

I was there trying out a assload of stuff. 20 boards and like 12 bindings. I always look forward to those demos. Didn’t realize the camera caught me in photo 9.

As a rep, it is always awesome to let your product do the talking, instead of just in store clinics. This event was super productive, and fun as always! Shout out to the Loveland crew for hosting us…

The event was great as always, tons of people out trying gear and being able to give first hand experience to consumers on them. I had a great time, bummer I missed you Mike!
