On Monday, September 8, Burton’s CHILL FOUNDATION hosted its 7th Annual Golf Tournament at the Vermont National Country Club to raise money for its programs aimed to motivate and teach challenged youth about patience, persistence, responsibility and courage through the action sports vehicle. With the recent breakthrough that surfing prolongs the lifespan and quality of life for people with cystic fibrosis, the Southern California chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation along with honorary co-chairs and surf legends Laird Hamilton and Dave Kalama hosted a successful and touching event.
