Christian Connolly, Sales Manager
What are the three biggest trends you see shaping the market and what are you doing to meet them?
Lower profiles, an increased emphasis on stylistic embellishments and new/updated fit systems seem to be the focal points of helmet trends. RED is all about progress, and by utilizing new low profile aesthetics with fresh graphic treatments and exclusive customizable fit system components, we look to fuse protection with performance.
For the upcoming season, what is your brand doing to differentiate itself?
RED has been making helmets for over 15 years and in that time we’ve never stopped looking for ways to improve our products. For next season, as a late release, we will introduce a new shell technology called “Hybrid-TechTM”, expand our line with new lower profile models and have our helmets provide the best in style and comfort.
What new technologies are you introducing to your line?
Hybrid-TechTM (late release)
What trends do you anticipate in the realm of graphics, themes, and colors?
More one-to-one helmet/goggle integration stories. Our RED and anon product teams have been working closely to pair a special collection of team endorsed helmet and goggle colorways called “A2”. A2 is developed with a seamless helmet to goggle fit in mind and matching graphics that create a dynamic merchandising story at retail.
