LAZER SPORT BRINGS ITS INNOVATIVE HELMET TECHNOLOGIES TO THE SKI & SNOWBOARD MARKET Launching to retailers in January 2012, Lazer Sport will unveil a full line of helmets specifically designed for skiers and snowboarders. Building off its long helmet heritage and innovative products, Lazer snow helmets incorporate the Rollsys® fit system, while expanding upon Lazer’s groundbreaking ventilation research. With an expanded staff of snowsports industry veterans, plus Lazer’s innovative helmet heritage, you can now wear Lazer helmets on the snow, the road, or the trail. The Lazer snow helmet line debuts at the Snowsports Industries of America (SIA) Snowshow January 26 – 29, 2012 with nine all new models for men, women, and kids. Each model incorporates a mix of tried and true Lazer innovations, such as the Rollsys® fit system and ventilation design with new features for audio, temperature control and goggle integration built exclusively for the snow helmet collection. With over 90 years of helmet design experience, the Lazer brand is recognized as the innovative leader in the bike and motorcycle helmet industries, and now applies that heritage to ski and snowboard helmets. Lazer embarked on the new snowsports line over three years ago as a way to expose more consumers to its innovative approach to helmets. According to Lazer Snow CEO Peter Steenwegen, “we incorporate some of our technologies into the new line, but more importantly it is our passion and experience that differentiates Lazer snow helmets from the competition.” Retailers are invited to stop by the Lazer booth at SIA show (booth 4516) or ISPO (booth A1-11). Consumers will be able to purchase Lazer snow helmets through specialty retailers for the 2012/13 season.
