After an evening spent at dinners with BRA and Magic, as well as the Agenda and Flex Fit crews, we were able to hit the floor for a few more hours on Wednesday before we left, and had meetings at the UFC and Virus booths. Check out the updated gallery below.
Transworld Business caught up with buyers from Vertical Urge, Modern Skate and Karma Loop at the show Tuesday to learn more about what how they are utilizing the show, what opportunities they are seeing with bringing in new brands, and the overall vibe at Magic, Slate, Project and Pool. The consensus from retailers and buyers at the show seemed to be that both Project and Slate, along with the Pool section, were very useful. Project, because it has many brands that most action sports specific retailers might not have had a chance to see yet this season, seemed to be a popular show to pick up new accounts, such as smaller, up-and-coming accessory brands. SLATE seemed to attract a steady crowd throughout day two and retailers were pleased for the most part with the chance to meet with key accounts, although several indicated that they had already met with most brands at early shows this season.
