Shred Love, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that teaches inner city and at-risk youth life lessons and values through snowboarding as a part of SOS Outreach’s Recreation Outdoor Initiative, hosted a fundraiser dinner at Soul Flavors October 20, 2010, in Jersey City, New Jersey.The dinner raised funds to help keep Shred Love’s snowboarding program completely free to its participants. The sold out event proved to be a success, preparing Shred Love for another epic season. Attendees included youth participants and their parents, volunteers, mentors, board members, Assemblyman Charles Mainor, and supporters of Shred Love. Based in Bayonne, NJ, Shred Love currently serves youth from New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
