Volcom is extending its brand well beyond the retail shelves this summer. The action sports lifestyle company is offering summer surf and skate camps for kiddos in the Southern California area.
Volcom Stone’s Surf and Turf camp is a summer program that provides young actionsports enthusiasts with a week jam-packed with skate and surf instruction and skills development. The camp is open to intermediate surfers and skaters aged 8 to 14 who want to improve their skills in the water and on the concrete.
And for the kids who just want to catch some waves, Volcom is offering a surf-specific camp in San Celemente, California. Longboard champs Josh Baxter and Uncle B are heading the Volcom Stone Summer Soul Surf Camp, a day (or overnight) summer program for aspiring surf groms.

Volcom is proud to present two distinct summer camp experiences for young people who will be in the Orange County, California area this summer. Volcom Stone’s Surf and Turf is a week long surfing and skateboarding day camp that will take place in Newport Beach/Costa Mesa.
Volcom Stone’s Summer Soul Surf Camp is a day or overnight camp that will be happening at San Onofre State Beach in San Clemente. Read below for more information on both of these awesome summer youth programs! Space is limited so get on it!
Volcom Stone’s Surf and Turf Summer Surf and Skate Camp – Newport Beach
Looking for a great week full of action sports? Enjoy surfing and skateboarding in this dual camp designed for young surfers and skaters, ages 8-14, who are past the beginning stage and are looking to take their skills to the next level. In the morning, campers will learn about improving on the fundamentals of surfing as well as progressive surf moves, including cutbacks, bottom / top turns and floaters.
After lunch, campers will spend their afternoon at Volcom’s custom-built private skate park learning more progressive skateboarding moves, such as ollies, slides, rail tricks as well as skating ramps. Camp instructors and visiting Volcom team riders will provide instruction and demonstrations for both surfing and skating. Inspiration and motivation will feed the need of an up and coming surf and skate grom. Save $100 be registering before May 5th.
Volcom Stone’s Summer Soul Surf Camp – San Clemente
Volcom Stone’s Summer Soul Surf Camp has created a summer experience unlike any other surf camp. Our well-rounded programs are designed for kids ages 8-16. Summer Soul Surf Camp is operated by 3-time US Longboarding champion Josh Baxter and Chris Barnum (Uncle B). Together they offer over 25 years of surfing experience, water safety and surf etiquette.
This amazing weeklong overnight camp & day camp includes surf instruction for all levels of surfing. Kids enjoy music, painting clinics and much more! Summer Soul is the only camp located at the legendary San Onofre State Beach. With the gentle waves at San-O anyone can learn how to surf. Our weeklong programs start Monday morning 8:00 a.m. and end 4:00.p.m.
