SIA Booth of The Year Winner!

Share to Facebook Share to Twitter Share to Digg Stumble It More...

Every year in Vegas, and now Denver, brands go for broke to stand out from the masses and send their brand messages out with a megaphone. There’s always been an underlying competition going down for the most creative, innovative, eye catching, traffic magnate of a booth and we’ve decided to make it official. While there were scads of great designs and themes this year, we narrowed them down to the three most creative themes with the best execution.

Voting for the SIA Booth of the Year has ended. The winner will be announced on March 12.

Burton: ‘What Happened in Vegas… Stays in Denver’

The Ride Convenience Store

Celtek Snow Hunters

  1. kms says:

Nice work RIDE-Way to keep the creativity flowing=)

  2. Mexilot says:

The best thing about this is that Burton spent probably 100 times the money that Celtek and Ride did. Screw those guys. You can only buy so much

    • hate r says:

like the yankees pen stripes I guess… but you have to give it to Rod Sniffer .. prob the fiunniest thing i've seen in a long time. nice work twbis

  3. Herman Miller says:

What happend to Burton? I would be embarassed to have anything to do with that booth. Most contrived, unoriginal thing at the whole show. Surprised they even kept the comments section open knowing how insecure they are. I think Ride sucks too BTW.

    • ummmm says:

So who in your opinion should win?

    • Mexilot says:

Herman Miller? you must be one of those whiny blogger types?? get a life and give some real feedback. What's wrong with Ride?? there booth was pretty dope?

      • Herman Miller says:

Not whiny at all. Nothing is innovative here. If I had to choose, I'd say Celtek. This most recent one was so stale that I realized the snow sports industry as a whole is out of original ideas. I haven't been to an exciting tradeshow in quite some time. There are no leaders anymore and that is sad.

  4. John says:

What about CandyGrind. Their booth was sick, clean design and didnt have some annoying theme going on where everyone had to wear something ridiculous that had nothing to do with their company.

  5. boothy says:

LIB! I mean did you see the pink sweat pants and Saari's wig?

  6. jimmy says:

    none, all of those sucked!!!

  7. Denver says:

Sack Lunches, Chili, and Smores…..Celtek had me going back to the booth every day. Best booth for sure!

  8. Ryan says:

SMDI, clean, simple, and tons of shades….

  9. bd56 says:

did anyone see the bitch boards booth ?

my favorite. that and the snack bar.

  10. Hannah says:

did you see the girls bathroom!?!!! I'm pretty sure SMOKIN in the girls room should win!!

  11. deadlung says:

ski companies did the same thing as burton. obviously not an original (or even cool) idea. tha ski co. ruined it for burton. dont vote for burton. or ride, celtek all the way! that shit looks sick

    • john says:

ya!! dang SKI companies…thought that conversation went out the window in 1998 and when snowboarding became more main stream that tennis…good to know there's still ignorant 'knuckle draggers' out there keepin the shred alive!!

    • likabum says:

no brainer for sure, but well executed. the vip strip club mirroered rooms is pretty tight. Ride was WAY more creative though.

  12. Kathy says:

    Celtek, great work….Obviously the best!!!!!;)

  13. Karen says:

    Celtek so creative! good job!

  14. george costanza says:

hell ya i agree with lungie!!!!

  15. Adam Drost says:

Celtek has the sickest booth by far!

  16. Marquis says:

Uh… didn't Burton do the whole Buck Hunter theme for the 2008 US Open? How is Celtek's booth original at all?

Burton clearly did the sickest job. Put down your haterade.

  17. shredface says:

    CELTEK! CELTEK! CELTEK!

  18. Brendan says:

    some of my thoughts:
skullcandy should have been on this list. hot girls in flight attendant uniforms + live DJ all day + free shit = awesome.
OAKLEY had like 8 leather couches and HDTVs everywhere covering the x games. their booth was sick
technine gave out free 40s. gotta respect that
CELTEK was the shit! best booth hands down. spittin out free food all day. vote for celtek

  19. charliehyde says:

    celtek all the way!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. cvDRT says:

so stupid. its like apples vs oranges. what about the show in general? all those booths were pretty good. anyone know what volcom did?

  21. 4 wheels says:

the skullcandy booth was like a bad rave. serious garbage crap. why isn't the Mountain Board booth and demo in here. the drop in ramp was worth the price of admission.

  22. Buck says:

Hell Yeah Celtek. Sweet poppy flat camber rocker dead snowboards Burton.

  23. muggs says:

    Celtek for sure !!!

  24. MarsButt says:

Anyone know when this race closes?

  25. Dumps says:

Ride had more going on than the video showed, they should have gone through earlier in the show.

  26. Lefty says:

Yeah the video for the Ride Booth does not do it justice. They had all sorts of details, fun Video and tons of free shit. On top of that they had the funniest sticker on the back of their booth stickin it to the big B. My vote is them just because of the effort they out in. Left.

  27. for g's sake says:

find out who spent the least, made the most money in booking sales, and you've got the winner. Opulence is so 2005. give that skrilla to your retailers via pop, windows, etc and fun yo biz as if its a brand that doesn't need a theme to prebook orders or open new accounts.

  28. for g's sake says:

btw, what happened to Kicker F*Cker Chicken?

  29. hydester says:

Cektek rocks!! Ride is big brotherspending 20X as much

  30. Alex says:

Mervin! Make your own t-shirts, pink sweatpants, and The Backdoor Lounge

  31. muZikblaster010 says:

  32. Dylan, SLC, UT says:

Your Bruddah from a different Muddah,
    Dylan

  33. imfromseattle says:

    Ride!

  34. indica says:

yea roight, rides backed by a million dollar corp, celtek is soooooodope~! They do things differently, CELTEK for worddd !!!

  35. dumper says:

    Ride wins shut it down!

  36. shred shack says:

dude, Celtek and Ride have the troops out - this voting's going ape shit

  37. B Guy says:

All you guys are so crazy man. Burton is like the baddest ever dude. Let's get real… Burton is the only real snowboard company really. All those other companies just try and go sideways. Burton or die, that's what I always say. Shawn White knows what's up, he's totally my homy. And Jake was so bad ass in that Visa commercial. Ain't no one got nothin on that brah. Throw down chickens.

  38. footclann says:

    celtek knows whats up

  39. Alicia says:

    Celtek definately!

  40. Ant says:

    Ride FTW.

Celtek is too mish-mash, Burton is too-overdone, plus, the Ride "Convenience Store" reminds me of the Quick Stop from "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back".

  41. Lacey says:

CELTEK! … besides having a sick line, they had duck hunt and big buck hunters! plus free smore's. how could you vote for anything else?

  42. smokey says:

no one really cares and youll forget about it within the hour.

    go about your day

    dont start trippn craiiiig

  43. Foothills says:

to me, the best part regarding Burtons booth was there admission that their times in vegas where much better than they are now. like much of their product, they are living in, and grasping at, the past…..
