Outdoor Retailer’s Winter Market 2010 is in full swing at the Salt Palace in downtown Salt Lake City. More than 40,000 attendees have descended on the city for four days of outdoor sports gear, events, and action. With snow falling heavily in the hills, the event got off to a great start with a face shot filled on-snow demo at Snowbasin on Wednesday, January 20 before retailers and manufacturers made their way to the convention center yesterday.
While the trade show’s focus is on outdoor gear, there are numerous action-sports brands on hand along with a large fabric, fastener, and materials sourcing area on site. Add in numerous techs, split board companies, and developments for the backcountry and this is a great show to add into the mix.
Here’s a look at some of the action from OR. Stay tuned to TransWorld Business for updates from the show through Saturday.
