Mr. Snugglesworth, Head Honcho:

Mr. Snugglesworth
What are the biggest trends shaping the hardgoods market for next year?
Trends are trendy.
How have you responded to the industry-wide oversupply of last season?
We keep our shit tight, and only produce stuff that we would ride. None of the unnecessary crap. And no minimums on ordering.
How are you working with retailers to help ensure strong margins?
We bought the Margins a gym passes in the off-season.
How do you see the hardgoods marketplace evolving next year?
I like to put on goggles with orange lenses and see it that way.
What opportunities do you see for hardgoods sales?
For DWD we see an opportunity to grow on the close relationships that we have with all the SNOWBOARD ONLY shops that we work with, and the many more that are out there that need the support of comrade snowboarders that aren’t looking for the biggest buck, but the best attitude.
What are the biggest forces shaping the changes and developments you’ve made to your boards?
We’ve just completed our first production season at a new factory and we’re combining their long history of knowledge of snowboard construction with the needs and input from our entire team to produce a boards that are the most versatile.
What’s your philosophy on camber these days?
To each their own. We’ll be making both, camber and reverse camber this season. our line of boards has 3 camber boards and 1 reverse camber.
What themes are you seeing for graphics?
Good chance that whatever they’re doing, we’re not.
