According to a notice filed with the California Employment Development Department, Quiksilver will be cutting its Huntington Beach workforce by an additional 168 positions.
The OC Register reports:
The layoff notice says 153 workers will be let go by July 21 and another 15 will leave by Oct. 1.
The company announced a major restructuring in January that included the elimination of 200 business positions in its Americas region. Quiksilver later notified the state that 91 of those jobs were in Huntington Beach.
Last year, the company laid off 397 workers in Orange County, according to records filed with the EDD.
