Silver screen stars have The Academy Awards, Musicians have the Grammy’s, but the highest honor in the world of skateboarding comes in the form of The TransWorld Skateboarding Awards. On Friday, June 12 the world’s best skateboarders converged at The Avalon in Hollywood, California to honor their peers, party, and see the world premiere of TransWorld’s new film Right Foot Forward.

The much anticipated night left none disappointed. From an impromptu “appearance” by a couple of adult film stars to a heartfelt blessing of the crowd by TWS Legend Award winner Christian Hosoi, the events of the evening ran the full spectrum of the skate sect’s spirit.
