The winter weather that’s making riders and retailers dreams of a white Christmas a reality just keeps on hammering. From the West Coast to the East, snow is blanketing the mountains just in time for the crucial holiday season, and hopefully translating to solid sales for what many were worried would be a bleak sales stretch.
Resorts in Colorado have already surpassed the 100″ mark and many around the country are nearly 100% open. Some impressive snowfall totals include:
Steamboat: overnight, 20″
Aspen:overnight, 17″
Mammoth: Base - 47-87″ base
Stowe: 34-64″ base
Snowbird: 64″ base
Keep it coming!!

For end of December and not having snow until last week? I/d have to disagree. Shit, Vail got 7′ this week and is expecting as much as 36″ tonight!
