Note: Internet sales had the highest average price tag of all channels for every category other than bindings.
Stay tuned to the December issue of Transworld Business for SIA’s initial sales numbers for Aug - Oct 2008.

Can’t imagine why snowboarding participation numbers keep going down.
Price of a one-day lift ticket during Christmas Break:
Stowe, VT: $89
Mammoth, CA: $83
Aspen, CO: $92
Park City, UT: $85
Big Sky, MT: $78
Isn’t XBOX 360 only $199 now?

Another reason that participation numbers are going down - - the internet can’t stoke a person out about how much fun it is to ride.

Warren you nailed it,the only way to truly understand what it means to ride is to actually get your a## on a snow covered mountain. In addition, because of the way snowboarding has been marketed , many people have shied away from the sport. Once I rode, alot about my life changed. I spend mucho time and energy introducing people to snowboarding. Why? because it is a great thing ina World of Sh*t
