Sixth Annual Tahoe Adventure Film Festival Premieres In South Shore

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE - (South Lake Tahoe, Calif./Nev.) – Gnarly footage from BASE jumping, skiing, downhill mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, surfing, deep water soloing – no gear, no ropes, climbing rocks over water – all risk, describes the fast paced, high energy, sixth annual Tahoe Adventure Film Festival that premieres in South Shore Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa.
In addition to selected movie clips, this years’ gathering will once again pack the showroom with go-go dancers, giant action photography displays, sports demos, a DJ with dancing ceiling show, tons of giveaways, and a few surprises. A raffle to win a heli ski day in Cordova, Alaska, with Points North Heli Adventures will keep the energy high during intermission.
The best international adventure sports films, athletes, and filmmakers all together for one night. The doors
open 6:30 p.m. with a giant action sports photo show from the top names in action sports photography from
Aurora Photos. The main event starts at 7:30 p.m. and features 10 minute clips from the best adventure and
action sports film clips from around the world.
The After Party will keep the film festival mojo going strong at blu nightclub. Tickets are only $20 and advance purchase is highly recommended as the festival has sold out in years past. Call MontBleu ticket office at 800- 648-3353 or ticketmaster.com.
