Diamond Peak Base Lodge Renovation Continues on Budget

Incline Village, NV- The Diamond Peak Base Lodge Renovation continues on-budget; however, there has been a slight delay in the schedule. Due to issues at the factories, the delivery of the windows, storefront doors, carpet, and rubber flooring will be later than originally scheduled. This delay will not affect the Diamond Peak Base Lodge Grand Opening on December 6th or Diamond Peak’s scheduled opening day on December 11th.

IVGID now takes ownership of the lodge level by level. Floor 1 will be handed over on November 3rd, Floor 2 on November 12th, and Floor 3 on November 21st.  The ski operations team has participated in every step of the revised schedule and is comfortable working with a segmented move-in.  Construction progress continues with the other elements of work despite the delay.

The total renovation includes new restrooms in the Loft Bar area, a 300 sq. ft. banquet room, a new food service counter, an outside deck with a stairway that leads to the bottom of the lodge, an expanded rental shop, expanded Food  Beverage storage, raised Loft ceilings with skylights, upper deck with heated paving stones, new siding, new F offices, fresh paint, new carpet, new fixtures, and more!
