ADMIN

AS REPORTED IN  OCTOBER TRANSWORLD BUSINESS:

The boardshorts product class was the third-highest volume apparel class in the ActionWatch Retail Panel during the latest twelve-month period tracked (following fleece tops and T-shirts). It is a very competitive class, although the top five brands own almost 70 percent of the class’s market share in the core retail channel. It is also interesting to note that, although the market is very small in price points over 79 dollars, we are seeing increasing sales at higher price points with some even surpassing 80 dollars. All data on this page includes sales from the August 2007 through July 2008 time period except in the timeline graph.
