What’s new and newsworthy for the 2008-2009 season

EPIC deals …

* The most Epic deal in the industry. At $579, Vail Resorts is offering for the first-time an unlimited, ski-as-much-as-you-want, no-black-out-dates season pass valid all season at six resorts (so, pay for six days and get the rest of the season for free).

* Rental pass. A new unlimited ski (or snowboard) rental pass reduces the hassle factor, eliminates luggage fees and gives you a season-long quiver of the latest and greatest high-tech skis or snowboards for $359 (premium package is about $100 more).

* Holidays Free. Your Holidays are on Us with a new deal that offers a free night of lodging on the six most popular holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, etc) when you purchase four holiday nights at our RockResorts from the Rockies to the beaches of St. Lucia.

What’s new…

* Vail: A new SKImmersion program that treats and trains you like an Olympic skier on and off the slopes. Plus, enjoy the results of Vail’s extreme makeover and enhanced service.

* Beaver Creek: A new children’s ski and snowboard school center, The Ranch, with a high-tech food ordering system and a children’s gondola. Plus, the debut of a new RockResort called The Osprey.

* Breckenridge: A new base area at Peak 7 featuring a new restaurant, high-end lodging at Crystal Peak Lodge, a new ski school, ticket sales and ski rentals.

* Keystone: A new eight-passenger gondola that will now originate in the village and features a new mid-station.

* Heavenly: New trails and a new 3,300-foot-long zip line (the longest zip line in the continental U.S.).
