Very immature clowning the guy with the electric skateboard. This whole idea of covering the show is brilliant but using a 30 year old Cote acting like he’s 18 doesnt work for most of your viewers. We are veteran business owners and expect top calibur coverage, not kiddy clowning around by Cote. Next show try and actually improve on the content ie: new products and companies. Afterall, its Transworld BUSINESS right? We all know the industry is fun but watching Chris walk around like an idiot is an insult to all who depend on this industry to make their living. Just me 2 cents. You better hope Shop-Eat-Surf doesnt take this idea next show, imagine the valuable content they would put out versus this crap. C’mon guys, there’s tons of room for improvement to actually make this very valuable!
Cote’s style may appear to be “immature” but there is more truth coming out of his mouth than from any overanalyzing article. By the time I hear from Chris Cote I’ve already done the hard work and made up my mind, so it’s nice to hear someone put a fun spin on these topics. It scares me to think that some people use Transworld Business as a step-by-step How-To-Run-A-Business guide.
I wonder if switchreflip makes electric skateboards? Good point, but I think Coté’s interviews are all on the Surf site too. The first few were more business focused kind of. Anyway, this is a great idea and they are definitely the first to use this technology. WAY better than any other coverage from the show. Why do people give so much props to Shop-Eat-Surf? Just goes to show how short people’s attenetion spands really have become. Plus, it’s Sunday, the show is over, and there’s nothing on that blog anyway…aren’t the point of blogs supposed to be timely? Regardless … it’ll be interesting to see what the biz crew can pull together for Surf Expo …. if Florida isn’t underwater that is.
