Colorado Ski & Golf Launches Snowboard Recycling Program

According to Colorado Springs’ TV station KOAA:

Colorado Ski and Golf is kicking off a ski and snowboard recycling program. Equipment in good condition will go to charitable programs. Equipment in bad condition will be shredded and reused.

” What we’re going to try and do is some product will be ground up and be able to use and make some decking and other composite materials that may be useful as opposed to filling landfills,” said John Buell, store manager.

To fund the program, the shop is adding a $5 recycling fee to the sale of new equipment.

Nice how the “look at us we are saving the environment” costs their customers $5.
Looks like a Tax to me!
