OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE - NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (August 6, 2008) - Freestyle, the original action sports watch manufacturer, will introduce new styles and updated colors to previous favorites at the upcoming Fall 2008 trade shows.  Freestyle will debut the collection at Outdoor Retailer (OR), booth #36144, followed by Action Sports Retailer (ASR), booth #1117, and Surf Expo, booth #1069.

Premiering are a variety of new styles including the Nomad, Convert, Bella and Stealth Tide 3.0.  The ever-popular Shark Classic collection has been updated with new color combinations, and two new dive watches for men and women, the Submersion and Submersion Mid, have been added to the dive category.

The Nomad is an altimeter, barometer and compass watch.  It’s a technical yet stylish accessory built for outdoor enthusiasts such as snowboarders, skiers and mountain bikers.  In addition to its triple sensors the Nomad features a digital display with time, day and date, calendar, five alarms, 99 lap memory chronograph, countdown timer and electroluminescent backlight so the wearer is never lost for time or direction.  Retailing for $160.00 the Nomad’s technical features and sleek design make the watch both functional and wearable on and off the mountain.

The Convert and the Bella are two new polyurethane banded watches for men and women.  The Convert, available in grey and black, $75.00 and $85.00, respectively, is a men’s watch made with an angular design, recessed buttons and digital display.  Staying true to Freestyle’s roots, the Convert features a countdown heat timer; it also shows the time, day and date, has dual time zones, chronograph, alarm and NightVision™ backlight display.  The women’s specific Bella retails for $65.00 and is available in blue, purple/black and red/white. Features include a countdown timer, alarm, dual time zones, display with time, day and date, 10 lap memory chronograph, and NightVision™ backlight display.

After a well received launch of the Tide 3.0 in spring 2008, Freestyle has added the Stealth Tide 3.0 to the collection.  The all black design, retailing at $110.00, updates the Tide 3.0 with some serious yet subtle style.  The Stealth Tide 3.0 stores tide data for 75 beaches worldwide for the next 15 years.  With the watch’s programmable beach capability wearers are able to offset pre-programmed beaches by up to three hours to store local and secret surf break tide information.

The Stealth Tide 3.0’s other features include a preset heat timer at five minute intervals between 15 and 35 minutes, two alarms, digital display with time, day and date, dual time zones, NightVision™ backlight display, chronograph and a durable duel injected polyurethane strap.

With brand new colors added for fall, the Shark Classic and Shark Classic Mid will now be available in a total of 24 different colors allowing wearers to choose the color that suits their personality best.  The newly added color combinations are yellow/black, grey/orange, black/pink, white/orange, white/pink and red/blue.  The unisex watches feature time, day and date display, two alarms, stopwatch with split screen function, countdown heat timer and NightVision™ backlight display.  The Shark Classic and Shark Classic Mid retail for $55.00.

The Submersion and Submersion Mid will be welcomed by dive enthusiasts this fall. The Submersion for men and the Submersion Mid for women are each water resistant up to 200 meters. Each style is available in two stainless steel and two polyurethane colors with time, date and an electroluminescent backlight.  The watches will retail for $95.00, $100.00 and $125.00 depending on color, material and size.

All Freestyle watches are water resistant up to at least 100 meters, and are backed with the company’s limited lifetime warranty, dubbed “Till Death.”
