LOCAL NEWS: DC, Mike Shinoda Celebrate the Opening of ‘Glorious Excess’

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE - On Friday, July 11th, Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda and DC celebrated the opening of “Born” at the Japanese American National Museum in Downtown Los Angeles. “Born” is the first of Shinoda’s two part art exhibit “Glorious Excess”, and is open now through August 3, 2008. Shinoda’s second art exhibit “Die” will open January 2009 at the Japanese American National Museum.

“Born” corresponds with the release of Shinoda’s second DC Remix Series™ shoes, the MSDC Xander and MSDC Pride. Both shoes will be on display at the “Born” exhibit.

The MSDC Xander and MSDC Pride will be available for purchase beginning August 1st at exclusive footwear boutiques worldwide and on Mike’s website: www.mikeshinoda.com. Proceeds from the MSDC Remix Series™ project will go to the Michael K. Shinoda Endowed Scholarship in support of his alma mater.
