The S3 Supergirl Jam kicks off on Friday, July 25, with a skateboard bowl competition and continues throughout the day with free skateboarding clinics for girls of all ages provided by Skatelab. On Saturday, July 26, the competition line-up is jam-packed, including preliminary rounds of the skate street contest, the skate vert best trick contest, the Supergirl Junior Pro surfing finals and the inline rail jam best trick contest. The S3 Supergirl Jam fun continues on Sunday beginning with the snowboard rail jam (yes, snowboarding on the beach!), the skate street finals and a half-pipe exhibition featuring superstar Fabiola da Silva and five other top pros.

Throughout the weekend, fans can also enjoy interactive sponsor booths. Paul Mitchell will be providing haircuts for a donation, Dibs® Ice Cream Snacks will provide free samples, and Cosmo Girl will be giving away prizes via their prize wheel.  Members of the Blue Water High cast and S3 Supergirl Jam ambassadors — X Games gold medalist and professional skateboarder Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins; professional surfer Kassia Meador; inline skating sensation Fabiola da Silva; and Olympic medalist and ESPY-nominated action sports snowboarding star, Gretchen Bleiler — will be available for meet and greet autograph sessions.

Friday’s events will culminate with a free afternoon concert on the beach headlined by California’s own, The Donnas.  Brett, Maya, Allison and Torry will hit the stage with their girl-powered rock-n-roll excitement.  The sassy quartet is best known for their hits, “Take it Off” and “Don’t Wait Up for Me.”  Opening for The Donnas are new teen sensation, The Clique Girlz, featuring sisters Destinee (13), Paris (12) and best friend Ariel (13).  With big voices, love of music and dance and a friendship that spans nearly their entire young lives, The Clique Girlz are sure to bring exuberance to the Supergirl Jam Village.

Event goers can sign up for a Supergirl SMS text which allows subscribers to receive periodic text message updates to their mobile phones about the events, product information and general Supergirl interests. Fans can simply text the word “Supergirl” to “58671” on their mobile phone to receive updates. The SMS text is available for U.S. mobile subscribers including Alltel, Boost, AT&T, Dobson, Nextel, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon subscribers.  The cost for the service is free but standard message rates apply.
