FUEL TV Surf Series ‘FiNS’ Receives Emmy Award
OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE - LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - FUEL TV, the 24/7 action sports lifestyle network, is pleased to announce that the surfing TV series “FiNS,” produced by Opper Sports Productions, has received an Emmy Award. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Pacific Southwest Chapter presented the Emmy Award to “FiNS” for Outstanding Achievement: Magazine Program.
“This Emmy honors the creative partnership of Opper Sports Production, FUEL TV and the world of surfing,” says Ira Opper, “FiNS” producer. “The Award symbolizes the hard work, dedication and pure stoke that goes into crafting the series.”

“FiNS” is a magazine-format sports series that captures the progression of modern surfing in the making. The winning episode profiles legendary surf filmmaker and great white shark photographer Greg Huglin; Central California’s trio of surf brothers Chris, Keith and Dan Malloy; and presents a surf session in tsunami-ravaged Indonesia.
