VF Corp. Raises Q2 Guidance

VF Corp, (VFC.N), parent company of Vans, Reef, and The North Face, raised its second quarter earnings outlook on Monday, June 30, sending shares up 4 percent after hours.
The company announced earnings would rise between 10 and 12 percent over its previous projection of 80 cents per share and should be in the 88-90 cents per share range “due to stronger earnings from operations and a net favorable benefit from the resolution of various tax matters.”
Shares rose to $74.25 from a close of $71.18 on the New York Stock Exchange. VF Corp. will release its Q2 report on July 15.
