Teen battle of the bands – free admission with a skateboard. If you come to watch the bands and don’t have a skateboard admission is $5, and all proceeds benefit the Keepin’ It Free Campaign.

etnies Pier Pandemonium
When: 6 p.m.
Where: Huntington Beach Pier

etnies Pier Pandemonium will give skateboarders a chance to rally together at their local shop, enter a raffle to win a bag stuffed with gear to raise money to support Johnny Romano, and skate from the Huntington Beach Pier to the Newport Beach River Jetties. Local Huntington Beach, California skate shops Jack’s, HSS, New Wave and Jokers Skate Shop will be raffling off backpacks full of new etnies gear. At the Newport Beach River Jetties, food and drinks will be provided, the backpacks will be raffled off and the total donation amount will be tallied up.

“Get off yer arse and go skateboard,” said Don Brown, senior VP of marketing for etnies. “I personally challenge people to get involved not just by skateboarding, but by supporting this raffle that benefits Johnny Romano’s battle with cancer. I will personally match the leading stores final raffle amount out of my own pocket to get people to step up….let’s do this!”
