Layoffs Reported At Burton

logo_burton.jpgBurton Snowboards reportedly let go of approximately 30 employees company wide on Wednesday, April 2.While there has been no official press release from Burton, sources say that the company has eliminated The Syndicate staff on the West Coast, as well as several marketing positions. According to Burton, the layoffs represent less than two-percent of the company’s overall staff.Stay tuned to Transworld Business for the latest news as it develops.

Why do all the posts say ‘pending approval from administrator….it should say ‘we are afraid to post this because Burton might not like it…they could pull their advertising and Laurent might call us and complain…wow, power to the almighty Jake…hah!

wonder if the layoffs coincide with Romain and Anne Florre not re-signing with them?
