Northeast Pounded with Snow; Loon Mountain, NH Extends Season

Lincoln, N.H., March 12, 2008: March has come in like a lion, dumping over a foot of new snow so far this month on New Hampshire’s Loon Mountain. With more than seven feet falling since Feb. 1, Loon announced it will stay open through Monday, April 21, according to a press release received March 12,
Loon is also on track to post record snow totals this season. MORE THAN 17 FEET OF SNOWFALL so far means incredible March and late-season conditions, giving skiers and riders even more reason to make their way to Loon Mountain. Loon has also announced a new pass line up for the 2008-09 season, so check that out, too, at the mountain’s official Web site.
