group Y and ESPN are pleased to announce the first-ever Action Sports Conference!
Join more than 200 industry leaders and decision-makers from both endemic and non-endemic corporations for a day-long industry conference composed of multiple panel discussions and keynote speakers, covering topics focused around action sports and youth marketing. The conference will consist of influential key note speakers, panels of marketing and brand personnel, athlete insights, brand strategy, behind-the-scenes tours, and an inside view into what makes the Super Bowl of action sports (aka the ESPN X Games) tick.
During the last two decades, activities such as skateboarding, BMX and surfing have continued to grow in both popularity and exposure. Recent statistics cite that participants in action sports represent well more than 15 million people, with spending extending into the double-digit billions. The X Games has showcased action sports on a global level since 1995, giving action sports athletes and brands a broader level of media exposure than ever before.
group Y is pleased to join ESPN in presenting this one-of-a-kind conference, surrounded by the activity and excitement of the world’s largest and most-renowned action sports event—the 2009 X Games.
