Originally launched in 1991, the United Kingdom’s longest running snowboard magazine, Snowboard UK (SUK), has fallen victim to the current economic tides.
According to Snowboardclub.co.uk:
Mark McGettigan, who was the editor of Snowboard UK Magazine, has contacted us this evening to say that Freestyle Publications today officially suspended the magazine. All the editorial staff were made redundant this morning.
Mark Nuttal, owner of Freestyle Publications added it’s just a harsh reality of current times and said the whole company has ceased trading. He is hoping that SUK will continue this season and is working hard to find the right backing.
