Let the bidding begin…
Just like the Seattle scene its roots are firmly entrenched in, Spacecraft is known for its unique art, products, and business tactics, including its annual sticker sheets. The project compiles and adhesive-ises work from a crazily talented pool of artists, exposing new and established talents, and virally getting their work, and the Spacecraft name and logo, slapped up across the country and globe in a coup of guerilla marketing.
On Friday, May 22 Spacecraft invited Tokyo artist Madbunny (Akiyoshi Takada), Patrick Lennox Wright and his photo booth, TransWorld Business, and the entire Seattle scene to its downtown offices for its Sticker Gallery Release.
The night featured a silent auction of one of a kind prints for the Bali School Fund, a charity close to Spacecraft Founders Stefan Hofmann and Sarah O’Brien Parker’s hearts. Their clothing, headwear, and accessories company has an office in Bali, where most of its garments are made, providing 6,000 weavers with real living wages, and their kids with a good education through fundraisers like this.
Here’s what went down as the sun set over Seattle, the coffee turned to PBR, and Northwest industry icons came together for a good cause and an even better time.
