Fuel TV Launches On Demand Service With Time Warner

FUEL TV is expanding its options and reach with a new deal with Time Warner Cable and Cox Communications to offer on demand programming across the cable systems. The service will offer 10 hours of programming per month and be available in more than 10 million homes across the nation.
According to the release:
“We’re pleased with Time Warner Cable’s and Cox’s commitments to FUEL TV and its active and tech-savvy young audience. FUEL TV VOD allows skaters, snowboarders, and surfers to get out there and shred, and still be able to catch their favorite shows whenever they want,” said Mike Hopkins, President, Affiliate Sales and Marketing, Fox Cable Networks. “We’re thankful that Time Warner Cable and Cox continue to be valued partners in the distribution of our cable networks.”
Action sports and the action sports lifestyle continue to surge in popularity throughout the United States. The shows airing on FUEL TV On Demand include: Drive Thru New Zealand (surfing); The Captain & Casey Show and Built to Shred (skateboarding); The Adventures of Danny & the Dingo (snowboarding); and The Great Ride Open (motocross). Future FUEL TV shows included in the service include: On Surfari; Check 1, 2; The Standard Snowboard Show; Props; Firsthand; Drive Thru South Africa; New Pollution; Terje’s Season Pass, and American Misfits.
