50 Years Of Alpinestars: A Photo Recap From LA’s Petersen Museum

Thursday, October 17, marked the 50th anniversary celebration for Torrance, California based brand Alpinestars. The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles played host to an extensive list of Alpinestars athletes, celebrities, musicians, industry, and media partners, as well as Alpinestars’ friends and family, as everyone came together to honor the brand.

With key retailers in attendance, the unique exhibit of 50 years’ worth of Alpinestars product, archives, and imagery gave everyone the chance to relive a half century of accomplishments. The evening also served as the debut of the Alpinestars 50 year anniversary book.

Alpinestars product and a curated selection of championship winning bikes from the likes of Roger DeCoster, Jeremy McGrath, and Jorge Lorenzo were on display.

The party, which was punctuated with food, drinks, and music provided by DJ GreyBoy, also drew past and present legends and athletes from all disciplines of motorsports and action sports, including Travis Pastrana, Rick Johnson, David Bailey, Justin Barcia,  Mitch Payton, Jamie Bestwick, Mike Alessi, John Hopkins, Jarryd McNeil, Chris Forsberg, Nelson Piquet Jr., Benny Solis, Cameron Steele, JR Hildebrand, Matt Powers, Vaughn Gittin Jr., Jesse Heilman, Nathaniel Curran, Grant Langston, Sal Barbier, and more.
