Wingman Launches Action Sports Focused Men’s Grooming Products

Wingman Releases New 3-in-1 Multi-Gel Product

This July, Wingman will be launching its 3-in-1 Multi-Gel Formula in 495 Tesco stores with its opening salvo as one of the first entries into the action sports grooming product market.  The full press release is below…

Stu Jolley (26) is the CEO and Founder of innovative male grooming brand Wingman. Originally founded in 2009, the brand is now launching a new range of Multi-Gel 3-in-1 products across 495 Tesco stores nationwide from 8th July.

The Wingman brand was born out of Stu’s dream to shake up the men’s toiletry world. Designed with boarders, surfers, riders, musicians and general game changers in mind, the range is for any individual who just wants life to be that bit more exciting.

The new launch is aiming to redefine how men view the functionality of products in the male grooming market. The 250ml products, which have an RRP of £3.49, use a unique 3-in-1 formula that cleanses like an invigorating shower gel and shampoo, yet provides a moisturising aloe vera edge to deliver a super close shave, even for the most rugged of men.

The Wingman Multi-Gel is the first stage in an extensive NPD pipeline which Jolley is set to roll out for the brand, with sales expected to be excess of £500,000 for its first 12 months in market, with £4m sales predicted by 2015. The Wingman launch is being supported by a strategic marketing programme built around social media, PR, athlete sponsorship and product sampling at music festivals, action sports, motorsports and lifestyle scenes across the summer.

History of Wingman

Wingman was originally founded off the back of a surf trip down the West Coast of France in 2009.  With no showers working at the campsite, it gave Stu the inspiration to launch a range of multi-functional face + body wipes into Boots stores nationwide in 2009 off the back of a BBC programme called Britain’s Next Big Thing, presented by Dragons’ Den star, Theo Paphitis.
