Surf Expo’s Demo Day Expected To Break Records

Surf Expo’s Board Demo Day Expected to Break All Attendance Records

Press Release:

June 18, 2013The inaugural Board Demo Day at Surf Expo brought in more than 50 brands and 300 retailers. Last year’s event more than doubled that of the first. This year, Surf Expo’s Board Demo Day will be held Thursday, September 5 at the Orlando Watersports Complex and is expected to break all attendance records.

Supporting the Stand Up Paddle and Wake markets, Board Demo Day allows the retailer to ‘try it before you buy it’. The event gives exhibitors valuable face to face time with key retailers and the opportunity to demo new boards, paddles and equipment.

“We couldn’t be more pleased with the success of Surf Expo’s Board Demo Day. The event supports the wake market and adds even more value to the tradeshow for both the manufacturers and retailers.” Larry Meddock, Executive Director, WSIA (WaterSports Industry Association)

This year’s media sponsor, Alliance MultiMedia, brings another level of excitement to the all day, on-water event. “Surf Expo has grown Demo Day substantially over the last few years from a few EZ-Ups into a full industry event with athletes, new products and a great vibe. This was the logical moment for Alliance to truly partner and endorse this event. We are excited to be there in full force this year,” said Bill McCaffray, Publisher at Alliance MultiMedia.

Surf Expo Board Demo Day, presented by Alliance Multimedia will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 12-5pm at the Orlando Watersports Complex. While the demo is closed to the general public, all Surf Expo attendees are invited to attend free of charge.
