Over 300 of the world’s best junior surfers will compete for the gold in Playa Jiquiliste.
The 2013 Dakine ISA World Junior Surfing Championship will return to Jiquiliste Beach for the second year in a row. The championship hosted by Billabong will start on June 8th and continue till June 16th. Surfers under 18 will be entering from 34 nations to compete for the ISA World Junior Team Champion trophy as well as individual medals.
“Nicaragua hosted one of the best and most exciting ISA World Championships ever last year and I can’t be happier to return to this beautiful country and its excellent waves,” remarked ISA President Fernando Aguerre.
