Poler x Lifetime Collective Spring/Summer 2013 Collaboration
We are proudly excited to introduce the Lifetime X Poler Spring/Summer 2013 collaboration. We both just wanted to come up with a kit that you can wear while on a camping trip with your friends. What more do you need than a jacket, short, tee shirt and backpack? Well, you probably need a Poler tent, napsack and magic tarp but you get the picture. It’s about having fun and finding that new adventure around the corner.
We too at Lifetime have always wondered why some folks try to pretend like they’re going to do first ascents on alpine peaks, instead of celebrating the fact that they are having adventures that are awesome in their own way. Whether it’s a solo camp mission to find that endless tube or a twelve man motorbike camp trip in the redwoods, it all just really comes down to having fun outside with or without your amigos.
The real aim for this project and collaboration was really to provide a small capsule collection that would provide comfort and functionality while out on a camping trip, surf getaway, skate road trip but would also look nice. The collection features some real timeless and great fabrics such as our 60/40 Cotton/Nylon shell fabric, Thick cotton canvas and Poler’s great 1000D Campdura body and lined with a 420D Nylon. The collection also features some great artwork which is something important to both us at Lifetime and Poler.
The Poler x Lifetime collection features the Tillamook graphic tee, Gobi jacket, and the Poler camo backpack. The Poler x Lifetime collection will be available at Lifetime Collective, Poler, as well as at select Lifetime Collective and Poler Dealers. Look out for the Ozark short this summer!
To celebrate the collaboration collection, Poler published Lifetime Collective’s photo essay titled “County Line Beach Camping“, shot by Mike Selsky in the Malibu area as part of Poler’s “Adventures” photo series. Check it out!
Founded in 2002 by Reid Stewart and Trevor Fleming, beneath a buzzing light bulb in a dingy basement suite, The Lifetime Collective began as a collaborative group of artists and friends. With clothing as the main focus, Lifetime is inspired by the communities we live in, the places we travel to, and the curious characters that surround us. It is a family-spirited operation receptive to ideas that are shifting and paths that are twisting. More than a “brand of lifestyle,” Lifetime is defined by the changes that occur and the creative ways we adapt. In fact, the theme of Lifetime should be, “a work in progress,” as it is ever-changing and far from finished, a dream never fully realized.
We are an international brotherhood of free thinkers.
Poler Outdoor Stuff makes gear for people that are travellers, couch surfers, regular surfers, skateboarders, snowboarders, bicyclists, parents, kids, car campers and anyone else looking for something that looks good, is a good value and is all about having fun on road trips and in the outdoors. It’s stuff that is made for people that have adventures all over the world while wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and sneakers. It’s for people that wonder why everyone is trying to pretend they are going to do first ascents on alpine peaks instead of celebrating the fact that they are having adventures that are awesome in their own way.
