Left Hand Brewing Hosts Inaugural Beer Fest & Ski/Board Competition

(LONGMONT, CO) – Heck Yeah! Left Hand Brewing Co. is proud to introduce Hops & Handrails Beer Fest & Rail Jam on March 23rd in Longmont, Colorado. The new winter event will feature 23 of Colorado’s finest craft breweries alongside a 25 ft. high ski ramp at Left Hand’s brewery location from 2-7p.m. Hops & Handrails Beer Fest & Rail Jam will bring the best Colorado has to offer in a family friendly winter wonderland loaded with skis & snowboards, great music, local food, and craft beer. Hops & Handrails will benefit 3 different nonprofits, A Woman’s Work, SOS Outreach, and the Colorado Brewers Guild.

Doors open at two with many of Colorado’s great riders showing off their airs, grabs, spins, and flips. Your junior riders need a little help? Bring the kids to our Satellite Starts kid zone with boards and skis for riders as young as 2 years. Riders interested can register starting February 1st via email to Goldberg@lefthandbrewing.com. Competition gets going at 3:30pm.

In between watching the Rail Jam, attendants can sample a wide variety of beer from Colorado’s finest craft breweries. The Beer Fest kicks off at 2 p.m. for a 3 hour tasting session featuring Left Hand, Oskar Blues, New Belgium, and 20 more local breweries. A $35 tasting cup allows you unlimited tasting during the session.

Tickets to the Beer Fest & Rail Jam are available online for $30 and will be $35 at the door. Entrance to just the Rail Jam is available at the door only for $5, with all the proceeds going to our nonprofits. (The beer fest will be located inside the event campus).

“An event of this magnitude couldn’t happen without widespread community support. Special thanks to Del’s Masonry, Winter Park Resort, Burton Snowboards and Satellite Board Shop for making Hops & Handrails come together,” Josh Goldberg, Event Chair said. “We look forward to making this a winter tradition.”
