Every year the surf industry rallies in Hawaii for a few weeks of shredding at some of the most iconic surf breaks in the world. On December 3, the Vans World Cup Of Surfing went down at Sunset Beach, with Australian Adam Melling ¬†making a come back in the last few seconds from his 42nd place ASP ranking to secure his spot on the tour. ¬†Over at Oahu’s Pipeline, the Billabong Pipe Masters is getting underway on day two. Sebastian Zietz took the Vans Triple Crown, and the World Title is yet to be decided. In between snapping some of the world’s most talented surfers riding epic waves, TransWorld also had a chance to catch up with some the biggest industry heavyweights off the sand.
