Sena Technologies has released the SPH10S, a skier and snowboarder friendly multi-function headset/intercom that is compatible with a variety of helmets and allows users to connect wirelessly via Bluetooth to their cell phones, GPS units, mp3 players and other Bluetooth enabled devices while on the mountain. The SPH10S, recently introduced for the snow sports industry, allows skiers and riders to stay connected to their riding crew on the hill through intercom with up to three other people.

“With more snow sports enthusiasts adopting the use of helmets for safety reasons, we decided to take those measures a step further with the SPH10S,” said Tae Kim, President and CEO of Sena Technologies, Inc. “It’s of the utmost importance to be able to stay in touch with fellow skiers and snowboarders, especially if traversing the backcountry or non-heavily traveled areas of resorts, and we made the SPH10S so they can do that either through intercom or via cell phone.”
