WHAT’S NEXT: TRANSWORLD SNOW CONFERENCE
March 12-15, 2013
Sun Valley Resort, Idaho
We are driven by seasons. Summers are endured. Thoughts of fall sustain us through the long, hot months. Crisping days, Technicolor leaves, and the first flakes send chills through the mercury and our souls. Winter is omnipresent when sleep comes and with its arrival, the habits and schedules that we’ve laid out, that the calendar and our businesses dictate, kick into high gear.
Today is the part of your routine where you black out the dates of March 12-15 for the TransWorld Snow Conference. Marking its 18th round, the Snow Conference has become a cornerstone of the calendar for the industry’s best and brightest, a seasonal pilgrimage to discuss the industry’s biggest issues, to ride with its biggest decision makers, and to remove your brand hat and collaborate on the sport’s progression and growth.
This much is hopefully habit at this point, but we’d argue that habits are exactly what the Snow Conference is about breaking. Doing the same thing year after year yields the same results, and this year’s conference, once again set in a private village with a near private mountain in the backyard, will focus on snapping off your rearview mirror to focus on a simple question–What’s Next? Not just for your business, but for the sport, the brands, the retailers, the resorts, the media, and the mountains we all orbit around.
The oldest ski resort in North America is the perfect location to understand where we’ve come from, past successes and failures, and the best ways to leverage and create snowboarding’s next golden age.
With ample riding time, some of the best sidecountry on the planet, great food, updated transportation options, and extracurricular activities, the 2013 TransWorld Snow Conference will raise the already lofty bar it has been setting since 1990, and with attendance capped at 100 brand, retail, and resort executive representatives, the roster will fill up quick.
We look forward to joining you back for the encore performance of our two-year stint in Idaho. Please let us know if you have any questions.
See you in Sun Valley,
